Spring Sprint- youth run/walk

The Friends of Twin Lakes State Park are hosting an exciting youth event, the Spring Sprint. The course is a one mile walk/run for youth 14 and under. Participants are invited to dress in costumes and prizes will be given during the awards ceremony. Categories include (but are not limited to) Best Representation of the Theme, Best Hat/Headwear, Wackiest and Most Adorable. Costumes are not required. AWARDS: Top three male and female in each age group will receive a trophy. Prizes will also be given in various costume categories. All runners who complete the course will receive a medal. Free games and activities will be going on at the event, families are welcome. AGE GROUPS: 4 years & under, 5-8 years, 9-11 years and 12-14 years on the day of the race. PROCEEDS: Funds raised will be used to refurbish the Challenge Obstacle Course at Twin Lakes State Park.
